IACAT Process Day
Full Professional Members Only Event
Process day is an opportunity for us to access our own unique creativity as a community of Creative Arts Therapists, allowing for an experiential exploration of an issue that is usually addressed through a more cognitive approach.
Following on from last year's theme What Does Sexuality Mean To Us? there was general consensus that this was such a multi-faceted area that more time was needed than a single Process Day could provide. In November a small group held a Responses to Sexuality day, and from that emerged the theme for this year's event.
The day will explore the issue of consent and how we negotiate our boundaries, through the creative processes of music, movement, art and this year, optional body painting.
Please Note: If you intend to take part, we would recommend that you check if your therapist, supervisor, client(s) or supervisee(s) are members of IACAT and if they also are going to attend, and if so that you negotiate your boundaries with them before the day.
There is no charge for the day which is open to full professional members only but booking is essential on the following link.
