The iacat AGM is a wonderful opportunity to network with members and hear about developments within our organisation.
This year the IACAT council decided to take its AGM to the European City of Culture - Galway - as a source of cultural inspiration and a family friendly environment. Unfortunately due to the outbreak of Covid 19 our plans for a family friendly AGM have been altered and the numbers attending in-person have been limited to 70.
The Galway Bay Hotel situated in Salthill and right on the beach with lots of local amenities, was initally chosen to faciliate members to attend the AGM while partners/husbands/wives/ children enjoy the local attractions. This option is still open to those who would like to attend in person but comes with all government restrictions. Please choose the In-Person ticket for this option. Only 70 tickets will be available in-person.
The Galway Bay Hotel is directly on the Wild Atlantic Way and is a five minute drive to Galway City, there is a local bus service that runs every 20 mins located in front of the hotel (401 Bus).
10 rooms Friday night have been provisionally set aside under IACAT Members on a first come first served basis at €135 single rate. €156 double. Children 0-3 free / children 4-12 add €26 per night / 13-16 years is €37 extra per night. Free parking.
Please mention IACAT to reception at the time of booking to receive this discounted rate. You will need to book a room BEFORE Sept 21st and use the IACAT name to avail of the discount . After this date, the members discount will no longer apply and the public booking rate will be charged.
