IACAT Symposium - MORNING

Date: 24 Apr 2021
Time: 10.20am - 1.15pm
Location: Online via Zoom
Places: 21
Event open to the public

Theme: Release and Regenerate

In these times of restrictions and limitations how can we release what's inside into the creative process? How can what's released become colour, shape, sounds, movements, textures, words, stories and expressions. How can the creative experience be used to regenerate?

Following on from the past 2 years successful Symposium, in person in IMMA in 2019 and over zoom in 2020, we are meeting once more in the online sphere that has become so familiar. A day of experiential workshops across all creative arts therapy modalities for professionals, service users and the public curious to know more about our work.

Morning Workshops:

The Spirit in the Tree: Anne Connolly (Dramatherapist) and Sheila Kelleher (Art Therapist)

Finding the Creativity within COVID 19: Rosie Strain (Dramatherapist) and Linsey Clark (Dance/Movement Psychotherapist)

Planting Seeds:  Sarah O'Mahony (Art Therapist) and Fran Burns (Dance/Movement Psychotherapist)
